| Beschrijving keerzijde | The denomination numeral 2 occupies the left portion of the field in large relief, accompanied by the word CENT to its upper right, in the style of the standard euro cent reverse design. To the right of the numeral, a small shield bearing the Serbian cross with four firesteels is depicted alongside a sceptre-like ornament, set against a background of horizontal parallel lines evoking the standard euro cent globe motif. Twelve five-pointed stars are arranged around the inner rim, and the curved legend PROVE PROVA PROBE TEST ESSAI appears along the upper portion of the inner circle. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Serbia struck euro cent patterns in 2005 as part of its formal application process toward eventual EU accession, though the country would not even begin EU candidate negotiations until years later. These pieces were never legal tender and saw no circulation — produced strictly for submission and archival purposes. The Mandic reference places this among the pattern issues catalogued for the projected coinage series that, as of this writing, remains unrealized.
