Reverse description The quartered royal arms of Spain in a baroque-style shield occupying the central field, displaying the castles of Castile and the lions of León in the first and fourth quarters, the pale of Aragon in the second quarter, and the chain of Navarre with the pomegranate of Granada in the lower point, surmounted by the royal crown. The denomination numeral 2 appears to the left of the shield and the mint assayer initial S to the right. The mint mark P and assayer initials FM appear below the shield, flanking a small ornament. The surrounding legend IN·UTROQ·FELIX·AUSPICE·DEO· runs along the periphery, enclosed within the reeded border.
