Obverse description Irregular cob flan struck in the macuquina (cob) tradition, displaying the quartered royal arms of Castile and León within a cross-pattée composition. The upper-left and lower-right quarters bear the castle of Castile, while the upper-right and lower-left quarters display the rampant lion of León. A partial beaded border frames the periphery of the irregular flan. The legend FERNANDUS VI D G HISPAN ET IND R, invoking Fernando VI as King of the Spains and the Indies by divine grace, is partially visible around the edge of the planchet as characteristic of hammered cob coinage.

Reverse description Reverse displays the Jerusalem cross design typical of Spanish colonial cob gold coinage, with a bold cross pattée dividing the field into four quadrants. The denomination numeral '2' appears prominently in the upper-left quadrant, with partial elements of the mint mark, assayer initial, and date distributed across the remaining quadrants. Partial legend VTRAQUE UNUM ('Both as One'), the motto of the Spanish Crown, is visible around the periphery along with the date (partially legible). The characteristic pomegranate and floral ornaments of the Lima mint may appear at the extremities of the cross arms. The overall strike and flan shape are irregular, consistent with the hand-struck macuquina technique.
