Obverse description Draped bust of King Philip V facing left, set within a beaded inner circle. The effigy depicts the monarch with flowing hair and a lace cravat, rendered in the late baroque style typical of early 18th-century Majorcan coinage. The date 1723 and the partial legend + PHILIPP · V · HIS · R · appear distributed around the periphery between the inner circle and an outer beaded border. The overall strike, characteristic of hammered technique, imparts a slightly irregular outline to the coin's surface.
