Obverse description Right-facing armored bust of King Felipe V with flowing wig, rendered in high relief in the baroque portrait style. The king wears a cuirass with elaborate drapery visible at the shoulder and neck. The date appears in the lower field flanking the truncation of the bust. The circular legend surrounds the effigy and reads PHILIP V D G HISPAN ET IND REX, separated by small ornamental stops.
