Reverse description The quartered royal arms of Castile and León, with Granada in base and a central escutcheon, surmounted by the Spanish royal crown. The shield is flanked by the denomination numeral 2 to the left and the assayer's initials to the right, with the mint mark M below. The arms are encircled by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The surrounding legend reads IN UTROQ FELIX AUSPICE DEO, separated by pellets, within a milled border.
