| Descrizione del rovescio | A standing female figure, personifying Fame or Victory, robed in classical drapery and wearing a mural crown, faces left and extends a laurel wreath over an ornate altar or pedestal upon which rests the Imperial Crown of the Holy Roman Empire. The legend HIC DEBITA LAURUS (Here is the deserved laurel) arcs across the left field in Latin capital letters. In the exergue, the inscription ELECT FRANC OD V ZULL / MDCCLXXXXII records the date of the election and coronation at Frankfurt in 1792. The reverse commemorates the coronation of Francis II as Holy Roman Emperor and is rendered in a finely engraved neoclassical style. |
