Obverse description Central field bears a multi-line German inscription commemorating the ratification of the Peace of Westphalia in Nuremberg, reading GEDACHTNUS DES FRIEDEN VOLLZIEHUNGS SCHLUSS IN NURNBERG / 1650 / 16 IUNI, arranged in horizontal lines. Above the inscription, the crowned arms of Nuremberg — a quartered shield displaying the imperial eagle and the Nuremberg bend — flanked by laurel branches. The surrounding border legend, reading P.
