| Obverse description | The arms of Archbishop Paris von Lodron displayed on an oval shield surmounted by a crested helm, flanked on either side by the full ecclesiastical attributes of the archbishopric — croziers, processional crosses, and pendant tassels — all arranged in elaborate baroque style without an inner circle. The crowned lion rampant of Salzburg occupies the centre of the shield. The surrounding legend is divided by the heraldic composition and reads in abbreviated Latin across the field. |
