Obverse description Square klippe flan with a rope-twist milled border framing a detailed bird's-eye panoramic view of the city of Stuttgart, depicting the urban skyline with church towers, rooftops, and surrounding landscape rendered in fine relief. The cityscape fills the central field in a highly pictorial, engraved style characteristic of early 18th-century German municipal coinage. Below the city view, in two lines across the lower field, appears the Latin inscription identifying the city. The overall composition is enclosed within a beaded inner border set against the decorated klippe edge.
