Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Duke Julius Francis facing right, with long flowing hair in the Baroque style. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the cuirass and lace cravat. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait within a beaded border. The inscription abbreviates the ruler's titles as Duke of Saxony, Angria, and Westphalia.
