| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Joseph II facing right, rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style. The bust is unarmored, with the drapery knotted at the shoulder. The mint mark 'E' (Karlsburg/Alba Iulia mint) appears below the bust truncation.
