Obverse description Armored bust of Johann Philipp von Schönborn, Bishop of Würzburg, facing half left, with long flowing hair and a small beard, wearing elaborately decorated armor with a prominent cross. Reverse description Three mountain peaks (the arms of Franconia) occupy the lower half of the reverse, above which radiates a sunburst emanating from an oval cartouche containing the Hebrew Tetragrammaton (יהוה, the divine name of Jehovah) in Hebrew script, symbolizing divine authority. The circular Latin legend SANCTIS FUNDAMENTA EIVS INMONTIBVS surrounds the entire design, referencing Psalm 87:1.
