Reverse description Elaborate quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Ernestine Wettin territories, surmounted by an ornate crowned helmet with mantling and flanked by decorative scrollwork. The date is divided to either side of the shield in the lower field, with the mint-master's initials MR placed below the escutcheon. The surrounding legend in Latin proclaims the ducal titles of Saxony, Jülich, Cleves, and Berg for the Altenburg line, all enclosed within a beaded inner border.
