| Reverse description | A large, ornately decorated four-fold quartered coat of arms of the Duchy of Liegnitz-Brieg, displayed within an inner circle and surmounted by an elaborate ducal crown with prominent foliate crest. The shield is supported by scrolling baroque cartouche work and displays the heraldic arms of Silesia, Liegnitz, and Brieg in the four quarters. The peripheral Latin legend, reading MONETA. AVREA. ANNO. 1622, encircles the design within a beaded border, proclaiming this a gold coin of the year 1622. |
