Obverse description Conjoined half-length busts of the three Piast brothers — Georg III, Ludwig IV, and Christian — facing slightly forward, each attired in contemporary armour with lace collars, their hands clasped together at centre in a fraternal gesture of unity. The three rulers are depicted with long curled hair in the Baroque fashion of the mid-seventeenth century. A decorative cartouche or ornamental flourish appears below the busts. The circular legend reads D:G·GEORGIVS·LVDOVICHVS·ET·CHRISTIANVS·FRATRES:, separated by a beaded inner border from the milled rim.
