| Reverse description | Draped bust of the deceased Christian VI facing right, laureate with a wreath of bay leaves, wearing a lace cravat and richly detailed armour rendered in a similarly high-relief Baroque style. The mint-master mark 'A' is visible at the base of the truncation. The encircling Latin legend CHRISTIANVS • VI • D • G • REX • DAN • NORV • A commemorates the late king, serving as a memorial to his reign alongside the proclamation of his successor. A fine reeded border frames the entire composition. |
