| Obverse description | Armored bust of Duke Karl II of Münsterberg-Oels facing right, wearing a broad ruffled collar and elaborately engraved plate armor, contained within a beaded inner circle. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the beard, facial features, and armor decoration. The circumferential Latin memorial legend is divided by a cross ornament at the top of the coin, reading continuously around the border outside the beaded circle. |
