The effigy is flanked by a palm frond to the left and a laurel branch to the right, forming a decorative wreath. Above the portrait, a radiant sun disc bears the Tetragrammaton in Hebrew characters (יהוה), symbolizing divine authority. The circumferential legend in Latin records the queen's full royal title and runs around the border. The date 1646 appears in an ornate cartouche below the bust. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The royal arms of Queen Christina of Sweden displayed on a large, ornately shaped square cartouche shield adorned with elaborate baroque scrollwork and foliate ornamental supports. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. The heraldic composition is rendered in fine detail consistent with the German goldsmith tradition of the mid-seventeenth century. A circumferential Latin legend around the border records the queen's additional titles as Princess of Finland, Duchess of Estonia and Carelia, and Lady of Ingria. |
