| Reverse description | The central device comprises the elaborately interlaced royal cipher of Christian V — the letter C surmounted by a V and intertwined in a decorative script monogram — rendered in high relief against a smooth field. Above the monogram, a large open royal crown with fleurs-de-lis and arches is depicted in fine detail. The mint master's initials GK appear in the lower exergue below the cipher. The peripheral Latin legend NORV VAND GOTOR 1670 GK runs along the border, with the date 1670 incorporated into the legend, and the entire design is framed by a bold milled edge. |
