| Reverse description | Central design comprises an elaborate six-armed decorative cross with stylized fleur-de-lis terminals and foliate lily sprays filling each angle between the arms, all rendered in high relief. At the center of the cross, within a raised oval cartouche, appears the denomination IIS DUCAT in two lines. The fineness mark 980 is placed at the base of the cross below the lower arm. The surrounding circular legend reads PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI (upper arc) and AUREUS MAGNUS (lower arc), separated by small rosette stops at either side. |
