| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of Archduke Albert and Archduchess Isabella facing one another in high relief, their effigies rendered in a late Renaissance style typical of the Southern Netherlands. Both rulers are shown with period-appropriate dress and regal bearing. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer border, interrupted by a tower mintmark at the conclusion of the inscription. The beaded inner circle frames the busts within the field. |
