Obverse description Double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the central field, with the arms of Geneva — a shield divided per pale, bearing a demi-eagle and a key — superimposed on the eagle's breast. An imperial crown surmounts the two heads of the eagle. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the central device by a plain inner border.

Reverse description Five-line Latin inscription contained within a plain rectangular cartouche, the cartouche itself framed by elaborate strapwork and foliate scrollwork ornament filling the entire field to the coin's milled border.
