Reverse description Central field depicts the Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread and feathers finely rendered in the hammered technique. The eagle bears on its breast an escutcheon with the Habsburg arms, and the two heads are surmounted by a single Imperial crown above. The bird's talons are spread at the base of the design. The surrounding legend in Roman capitals names Emperor Ferdinand II in his full titulature, reading FERDINAND II ROM IMP SEM AVGVST, referencing his role as Holy Roman Emperor, always Augustus.
