| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents the Imperial double-headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire displayed with wings spread, each head turned outward and adorned with a nimbus; the eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left. A cross-tipped sceptre or sword is depicted on the breast shield beneath a single Imperial crown surmounting both heads. The date 1750 is divided and placed in the lower field on either side of the eagle's body. The surrounding Latin legend, reading FRANCISCVS·D·G·ROM·IMP·SEMP·AVGVST·, identifies the reigning Holy Roman Emperor Francis I as the suzerain authority under whose name the coinage was struck. |
