| Obverse description | The crowned arms of Nuremberg displayed as a tripartite cartouche surmounted by a spread eagle atop the shield; the upper oval shield bears the imperial eagle of Nuremberg, while the lower left shield displays a rampant lion and the lower right shield shows a diagonal striped field, all flanked by elaborate foliate and fruit-bearing branches in the baroque style. The mintmaster initials GFN appear in the lower field below the cartouche. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition within a finely beaded border. |
