The circumferential Greek legend reads ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ, meaning 'Constantine, King of the Greeks', arranged around the upper and lateral fields.
