| Obverse description | Laureate bust of King Constantine I facing left, wearing a laurel wreath with ribbon ties at the nape of the neck, rendered in high relief with fine classical portraiture. The engraver's signature K. ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΑΔΗΣ appears beneath the truncation, with the date 1915 in the lower field and the word ESSAI to the right. The circumferential Greek legend reads ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΛΗΝΩΝ, meaning 'Constantine, King of the Greeks', arranged around the upper and lateral fields.
