| Obverse description | Central field displays the Arms of Guernsey, consisting of a shield bearing three leopards passant guardant arranged vertically on a vertically lined background, surmounted by a sprig of foliage issuing from the top of the shield. The legend GUERNESEY curves along the lower portion of the coin between the shield and the beaded border that encircles the entire design. |
