| Beschrijving keerzijde | Imperial double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, each head facing outward, surmounted by a single imperial crown above both heads. At the centre of the eagle's breast is an escutcheon bearing the chequered Spinola arms. The entire device is rendered in the Baroque heraldic style typical of mid-17th-century Italian feudal coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the composition, separated from the field by a beaded border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Napoleone Spinola ruled the tiny County of Ronco as an Imperial fief in Liguria, and the Spinola family's ability to strike gold coinage at all was a privilege fiercely contested — their minting rights stemmed from Imperial grants that larger neighboring powers, including Genoa, periodically challenged. The 2 Doppie was the prestige emission of a minor lord demonstrating fiscal and political standing he could barely afford to project.
KM#6 is among the rarest documented issues from Ronco. Surviving examples are almost exclusively in institutional collections.
