Obverse description Draped bust of Francesco Filiberto Ferrero-Fieschi facing right, wearing a high ruffled collar and elaborate period costume with armorial shoulder decoration. The hair is curled and the face bears a short beard, rendered in the late Mannerist style typical of Italian Renaissance coinage. The effigy is set within a plain inner circle, with the Latin legend distributed around the periphery within a beaded border.
