| 正面描述 | Youthful armored bust of Giovanni Galeazzo Maria Sforza facing right, wearing a berretto (flat cap) with long hair flowing to the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in Renaissance style within a beaded inner circle, with the truncation of the bust visible at the lower field. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer border, abbreviated with standard contractions typical of Milanese ducal coinage. |

Giovanni Galeazzo Maria Sforza was seven years old when his father Galeazzo Maria was stabbed to death in Santo Stefano church on St. Stephen's Day, 1476. His mother Bona of Savoy held the regency, but real power shifted rapidly to his uncle Ludovico il Moro, who would eventually have the boy sidelined entirely by 1480. This double ducat was struck in that narrow, turbulent window — a regency coinage issued in the name of a child duke whose political future was already being decided by others.
