Obverse description The national emblem of Singapore is centrally depicted, consisting of a shield bearing a crescent moon and five stars, flanked by a lion and a tiger as supporters. The date 2007 appears below the emblem in the exergue. The country name is inscribed in four official languages arranged around the emblem: English (SINGAPORE), Malay (SINGAPURA), Tamil (சிங்கப்பூர்), and Chinese (新加坡).
