| Aanvullende informatie |
Redonda is an uninhabited Caribbean island of roughly 1.6 square kilometers whose claim to kingship is entirely self-proclaimed — a literary fiction originating with M.P. Shiel in the 1880s that has since generated competing claimants, rival courts-in-exile, and a surprisingly prolific numismatic output. No recognized monetary authority backs these issues. This piece, like others in Redonda's catalog, was produced for the collector market by a private licensing arrangement, with the WWF branding adding a layer of legitimacy the issuing "kingdom" itself cannot provide.
