| Obverse description | The central field features the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau, depicted as a shield bearing a figure of Neptune holding a trident, accompanied by a reclining female figure and marine elements, surmounted by a traditional Palauan sailing canoe. Eight five-pointed stars flank the shield symmetrically on either side. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, while the series inscription RAINBOW'S END appears within the lower portion of the shield. The denomination 2$ is inscribed in the lower field beneath the coat of arms. |
