| Beschrijving keerzijde | A highly detailed, high-relief depiction of a starfish occupies the entire central field, its five textured arms radiating symmetrically from the centre and rendered with finely granulated tubercles and raised nodules conveying naturalistic surface detail. The starfish is surrounded by an ornamental border of alternating spherical beads and elongated oval elements, interspersed with small diamond-shaped and rectangular tick marks, creating a jewelled decorative effect. The outer border is finished in a contrasting dark annular band with fine tick marks at regular intervals. The date 2024 appears in the lower central field beneath the starfish, and the territorial name MONTSERRAT is inscribed in large raised letters along the lower arc of the inner border. |

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues currency on behalf of eight member territories — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla — a monetary union that has held its dollar peg to the US dollar at 2.70:1 without interruption since 1976. Collector issues like this one are struck under that same authority, with the face value carrying legal tender status across all member states simultaneously.
