| Descrizione del dritto | The Fijian coat of arms is depicted at the centre of the field, supported on either side by a traditionally attired Fijian warrior, the dexter supporter holding a spear and the sinister a war club. The shield bears a British lion passant in the chief and is quartered with a sugarcane plant, a coconut palm, a dove of peace, and a bunch of bananas, surmounted by a British sailing vessel as crest. A ribbon scroll below the shield carries the national motto in the Fijian language. The legend 'FIJI · 2013' arcs along the upper rim, and the denomination '2 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower rim. |
