| Obverse description | The Fijian coat of arms is depicted at the centre of the field, supported on either side by a traditionally attired Fijian warrior, the dexter supporter holding a spear and the sinister a war club. The shield bears a British lion passant in the chief and is quartered with a sugarcane plant, a coconut palm, a dove of peace, and a bunch of bananas, surmounted by a British sailing vessel as crest. A ribbon scroll below the shield carries the national motto in the Fijian language. The legend 'FIJI · 2013' arcs along the upper rim, and the denomination '2 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower rim. |

Fiji has issued legal tender collector coins under licensing arrangements with foreign mints and distributors since the 1970s, but the "Siamese" series belongs to a wave of themed silver rounds produced around 2010–2014 that used small sovereign issuers — often Pacific nations — as nominal authority while targeting the global bullion collector market. The actual connection to Fiji is jurisdictional rather than economic; these coins did not circulate on the islands.
The Siamese cat designation places this among a broader animal-themed run. Mintage figures for individual issues in these licensed series were frequently uncertified by the issuing central bank and controlled entirely by the distributor.
