| Opis awersu | The shield-form coat of arms of the Republic of Palau occupies the central field, depicting a figure of Neptune bearing a trident at centre, flanked by a mermaid to the right and a sea turtle to the left, with a crescent moon and star in chief; a traditional Palauan outrigger canoe with paddler surmounts the shield. Six five-pointed stars are arranged in a symmetrical arc on either side of the shield.
