| Description de l’avers | The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Jody Clark, occupies the centre of the obverse, depicting a mature right-facing bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem, drop earrings, and a pearl necklace. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim, followed by the regnal dates 1952-2022, with AUSTRALIA and the year of issue 2023 inscribed along the right rim. The engraver's initials JC appear at the lower right of the portrait. The overall style is finely detailed and realistic, rendered in high relief against a flat field. |

| Description du revers | The reverse features a decorative wreath of rosemary sprigs encircling the entire field, rendered in fine relief against the aluminium-bronze ground, referencing the tradition of wearing rosemary for remembrance. At the centre, a coloured circular motif is applied, depicting concentric rings in blue and green hues with a small rosemary flower at the very centre, evoking a stylised wreath or commemorative roundel. The denomination TWO DOLLARS is inscribed in two lines along the lower left field, and the word Remembrance arcs along the upper portion of the design within the wreath. The overall composition is bold and symmetrical, combining struck relief with applied colour technology. |
