Obverse description The sixth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Jody Clark, occupies the centre of the obverse, depicting a mature right-facing bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem, drop earrings, and a pearl necklace. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left rim, followed by the regnal dates 1952-2022, with AUSTRALIA and the year of issue 2023 inscribed along the right rim. The engraver's initials JC appear at the lower right of the portrait. The overall style is finely detailed and realistic, rendered in high relief against a flat field.
