附加信息	Canada's circulating two-dollar bimetallic coin — the "toonie" — was introduced in 1996 partly to eliminate the short-lived two-dollar banknote, which the Bank of Canada had determined cost significantly more per transaction-year than a coin equivalent. This .9999 fine silver version is a collector restrike of that coin at dramatically inflated specifications, a format the Royal Canadian Mint has used extensively since the 2000s to monetize collector interest in everyday coinage.
