| Obverse description | The fan-shaped (annular sector) obverse features the fourth-portrait effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, diademed and draped, as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left border and NIUE ISLAND along the right, with the date 2013 inscribed at the upper centre.
