One of a cluster of Disney-licensed bullion issues released by Niue through the New Zealand Mint, this coin exists primarily because Niue's sovereign status allows it to appear on legal tender while the actual commercial relationship runs entirely through a private minting operation. The arrangement has been standard practice for the island territory since the early 2000s.
KM#4309 places it within a much larger Snow White subseries. Collector demand for the complete run, not any single piece, drives the secondary market here.
