| Reverse description | The reverse features a highly detailed sculptural design of three overlapping sugar maple leaves on a shared stem, rendered in deep relief by engraver Matthew Bowen. Two of the three leaves are finished with selective gold plating, contrasting dramatically against the unplated fine silver surface of the third leaf in the foreground. The legend CANADA arcs along the upper periphery, while the lower arc bears the bilingual inscription FINE SILVER 1/10 OZ ARGENT PUR. The date 2014 appears to the left of the central device and the purity mark 9999 to the right, with the engraver's initials AN visible near the lower right of the design. The rimof the coin also displays selective gold plating, framing the entire composition. |
