| Obverse description | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, modelled after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait, occupies the central field. The Silent Mary is a fictional vessel from Disney's 2017 film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, commanded by the ghost captain Armando Salazar. Niue has issued licensed Disney and other entertainment franchise coins since the early 2010s under a long-standing arrangement that converts the island's nominal mint authority into a vehicle for collectible bullion — a common practice among small Pacific sovereigns with negligible domestic coin demand.
