| Obverse description | The complete National Arms of Barbados occupies the central field, featuring a shield bearing the bearded fig tree and two Pride of Barbados flowers, supported to the left by a dolphin fish and to the right by a pelican, with a fist holding two crossed sugarcane stalks as the crest above. A scroll beneath the shield bears the national motto in the legend. The date is divided to either side of the arms, flanked by small trident symbols, and the country name BARBADOS arcs prominently along the lower periphery. The entire design is encircled by a continuous beaded border. |
