Aanvullende informatie

The "Rum Runner" designation references the long history of illicit spirits trade through the Eastern Caribbean, where inter-island smuggling of rum and molasses predated Prohibition-era American bootlegging by well over a century. The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, which serves eight member territories including Antigua, Dominica, and St. Kitts, has issued collector-focused silver pieces under the 2 Dollars denomination since the 2010s — a face value that bears no relationship to the bullion content.

KM#10 places this squarely in the ECCB's themed numismatic program rather than any circulating series.
