| Obverse description | Third-generation effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara and a pearl necklace, as modelled by Raphael David Maklouf. The portrait is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, with the surrounding legend reading 'ELIZABETH II · PITCAIRN ISLANDS · TWO DOLLARS' along the upper and right periphery. The date '2013' appears at the bottom of the coin, flanked by two raised dots. The design is executed in the classic Commonwealth portrait style characteristic of the Maklouf effigy used from 1985. |
