Reverse description Full-color depiction of four iconic Disney characters from Winnie the Pooh in an outdoor woodland setting. On the left, Tigger stands in a characteristically bouncy pose with his distinctive orange and black striped coat. At center-right, Winnie the Pooh, dressed in his red shirt and holding a honey pot, sits atop a gray Eeyore, while Piglet perches on Pooh's back. The inscription '1 oz 999 Fine Silver © Disney' appears along the lower rim of the coin.

Additional information

Niue has operated as a licensing hub for commemorative silver issues since the 1990s, collecting royalties by lending its sovereign authority to themes it has no organic connection to — Disney properties among the most commercially reliable. The Winnie-the-Pooh franchise, originally based on A.A. Milne's 1926 stories set in Ashdown Forest, passed through several ownership transfers before Disney acquired full control in 1961, making these coins ultimately a product of that corporate consolidation rather than any numismatic tradition.

KM#3759 is one of several issues in this particular Pooh series, each struck to the same one-troy-ounce specification by the same contracted private mints that handle the bulk of Niue's output.
